Worrying can consume your thoughts and have you thinking all of the bad things that can happen that hasn’t even occurred. We wrestle with all the negative situations that have occurred before and we set ourselves up with believing the worst is going to happen. How then are we practicing our faith, how are we then giving it to God? In fact the bible tells us “Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes?” (Matthew 6:25)
Indeed life is more than what we put in our mouth and what we garb ourselves with. It’s about spirituality, our connection with God, our temple (the body we reside in). Therefore once we connect with God our spiritual body elevates into learning to not worry. When you start to worry try this….close your eyes and take a deep breath in and as you breathe out whisper the name of the father and let it go and you will feel an instant weight lifted. We honor God by putting it in his hands because we believe he is an all knowing God and his plan for our lives are bigger than what we see at the present; just “Let go and let God” he won’t let us down.
